Q) Some of your prices seem to be on the lower side... why?
A) This is THE best question! Do not mistake lower cost for poorer quality. We only ship the best! Randy has made the decision in the past years not to raise the price due to the high cost of shipping.
Q) Where do you ship?
A) We ship anywhere in the 48 states.
Q) What if our order does not fill a trailor truck?
A) This is not a problem. We have several 2-Ton (straight trucks) that we haul loads on. A 2-Ton is about half the size of a semi trailor. THERE is also the option of sharing a semi-load with someone else in your area.
Q)Are you a certified nursery? Do you have a Nursery Certificate?
A) Yes, we are inspected annually by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. A copy of our certificate is sent with each load shipped out.
Q) Do you do credit checks?
A) Yes.
Q) What are your payment terms?
A) The first load is COD. After delivery of the first load and once credit application is reviewed, then payment terms become net 30 days. NOTE You will always have to pay the shipping/freight expense upon delivery of the load. The exception is that your company has payment terms with the truck broker or if we are hauling the load.
Q) How much will shipping be?
A) Once you schedule a delivery date, we fax you a shipping information sheet with the shipping cost stated.
Q) Can we set terms on the shipping?
A) You will always have to pay the shipping/freight expense upon delivery of the load. The exception is that your company has payment terms with the truck broker or if we are hauling the load.
Q) When do I need to place my order? How much notice do you need?
A) You need to place your order as soon as you have determined you will be purchasing from us. We dig upon order.
Q) Do you do price quotes?
A) Of course! It is not a problem for us. We do prefer that they be faxed, especially if there is over 4-5 items.
Q) When should I expect to receive the price quote back from you?
A) We try to return it back to you as soon as possible.
Q) Do you carry container plants?
A) We do sell container plants. We purchase all container plants from other reputable nurseries in this area.
Q) Do you have a wholesale sales yard?
A) No. We can provide you with pictures of any plant material you need. Our goal is to have current pictures of all trees and shrubs listed on this site as soon as possible. We currently are loading winter pictures. In the spring, we will add current pictures during that time.
Q) Do you have a minimum quantity order?
A) This a two-part answer. For B&B, not usually. There are times when Randy will offer specials which will require a minimum. For bare root, yes there is. Our minimum on bare root is 10 per item.
